Help Sort Root Veggies at the Vermont Foodbank in Wolcott

Past event
Feb 17, 2014, 8 AM to 4 PM

Pete's Greens has generously been donating 3000-4000 Lbs of seconds root vegetables per week to the Vermont Foodbank. In order to make these veggies available to local food shelves, nursing homes and soup kitchens they need to be sorted and bagged up. This is where you all come in! I'll be sorting veggies every Monday from 8-4 at the Manosh Branch of the Foodbank at 75 Quarry Road (in the Fisher Bridge Industrial Park, Right next to High Mowing seeds). Come for an hour or stay all day. All are welcome! If you are interested please give me a call or send me an email.
