It's that time again, the height of summer -- and no better place to hear music than The 20th Annual Folk Concert at the Old West Church in Calais, Sunday July 22nd at 4 p.m. The event marks two decades this year by, celebrating women folk musicians for the anniversary. The concert will feature fiddlers Andrea Beaton from Cape Breton, Véronique Plasse from Quebec, Jane Oxnard from the United Kingdom and Franco-American singer Michele Choiniere and her daughter Isabella Rottler. Vermont Musicians Deb Flanders, Pete Sutherland, Oliver Scanlon, cellist John Dunlop and violinist/fiddler Laura Markowitz will join them for another great afternoon of memorable music making.
