The 7th Annual Essex Half Marathon and 10K is next Sunday, July 22nd.
For the last six summers runners have loved this out and back course, with a loop in the middle, and we are gearing up for a bigger and better race in 2017! Registration is available at http://www.essexhalf.com/essex-half-marathon.html

We're looking for energetic volunteers to man the water stations and hand out water to runners for the Essex Half Marathon and 10K. Get together a group 3-5 friends and come on out to this awesome event! Volunteers for other tasks are needed as well. E-mail pivory@ejrp.org for more info or to sign up.

Families who live along the route (Old Colchester Rd, Colchester Rd, Gentes Rd, Sand Rd, Colchester Pond Rd, Curve Hill Rd, Lost Nation Rd, and Lamore Rd) should expect traffic delays. We will NOT be closing any roads for this event, but do ask that you drive with extra caution as we anticipate nearly 200 runners hitting the streets that morning!
