Local musician Jake Geppert of Bondville Boys fame will present "Uke Can Read, Uke Can Rock!" at the Dummerston Community Center, 150 West Street, West Dummerston tomorrow, July 14, at 10 a.m.

Lydia Taft Pratt Library has received a grant from the Vermont Department of Libraries to offer this free program to the community as part of the "Libraries Rock" summer reading program.

Geppert will present a history of the ukulele and its journey into rock and roll. As a group, participants will write and play a short song of their own. Bring a ukulele if you have one; not required. Refreshments will be served.
