Notice to the Community: Emergency Siren TEST scheduled for Tuesday, July 17

On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at some point during the mid-morning to midday, Norwich University Department of Public Safety will conduct a test of the emergency siren over the I-Force 1600 loudspeaker, located on the top of Chaplin Hall.

This test is only to test the functionality of the loudspeaker system that has recently been upgraded in Wise Campus Center and the Athletic facilities (Andrews Hall, Doyle Hall and Kreitzberg arena). There are no requirements asked of the community and no one is required to take any action.

The test should last approximately 3 -5 minutes as it runs through one cycle and may run through more than one cycle. We apologize for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause.
