Hi Centennial friends! I'm one of the hundreds of UVMMC nurses who will (likely) be striking tomorrow, assuming we do not come to an agreement with management tonight. We have not come to this decision lightly, and it pains us that the bargaining sessions have not led to a fair contract agreement. That said, we are ready and prepared to strike tomorrow to show management that we are serious about our demands for safe staffing, as well as fair and competitive compensation for both nurses and our support staff, for whom we are arguing a $15/hour minimum wage.
