Following Antiques and Uniques, take a few minutes to relax with others for interesting conversation at Theology on Tap, Saturday, July 14, 5-6:00ish pm, at the Highland Lodge in Greensboro. The topic will be "Charity" – as in being charitable. From Webster's Dictionary: "1. The love of God for humankind, and the love of human beings for one another; 2. an act of good will or affection; 3. the feeling of good will, benevolence; 4. Kindness or leniency in judging others; 5. a) a voluntary giving of money or other help to those in need, b) money or help so given, c) an institution or other recipient of such help." We'll focus on the first definitions – which provide foundation for the latter definitions.
