Citizens of Vergennes and Surrounding Communities,

There will be a Vergennes Police Department Community Forum being held on Thursday, 26 July 2018, starting at 6:00 p.m., at the Saint Peter's Church Parish Hall located at 85 South Maple Street in Vergennes, VT. The purpose of this meeting is to provide me an opportunity to explain to those who may be interested on the status of our department and what we see as the future for it. In addition, I will explain the current challenges we face here in Vergennes and surrounding communities, as well as across Vermont. People will be provided insight as to what it takes to investigate and process cases, requirements for training and equipment, law enforcement related legislation and some statistical analysis, and future initiatives. Attendees will also be able to ask questions of me in regards to the Vergennes Police Department's mission and operations. I welcome anyone interested to please attend this meeting.
