Join us Saturday July 21st, from 7 to 9PM in the beautiful gardens at Park-McCullough House for the event of the summer, Vintage Garden Gala. The evening will feature Live music, delicious desserts, extravagant cheese board, silent auction filled with wonderful gifts and unique experiences, cash bar hosted by Thyme Tables Catering and a very Special Ribbon Cutting!
For decades, members of the community have admired the grounds and for many the play house has held a very special place in their hearts. How many of us have peered through the dusty windows of the playhouse trying to imagine what it would have been like playing inside as children? A rare few in our community have ever had the opportunity to actually experience the inside of the play house until now!
A very special ribbon cutting will take place at the Vintage Garden Gala. Guests of the Gala will be invited inside the newly restored playhouse for a for a first look before it is opened to the public later in the summer.
Also at the Gala, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the Garden Restoration Program. There will be volunteer sign ups for garden projects and activities, a gardener's wishlist of plants and tools for guests to pledge their support and a special experience package available at the silent auction just for garden lovers.
Space is limited to 100 guests! Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. You can purchase tickets through Eventbrite. Funds raised from this event will support The Friends of Park McCullough House in their mission to preserve the historical nature of the gardens, grounds, mansion, play house and carriage barn. The Friends of PMH strive to support and maintain "The Jewel of North Bennington" for all to enjoy by providing guided tours, as well as sponsoring cultural and community events on the property.
As a special thank you to the wonderful members of the Park-McCullough Association, each member purchasing a ticket to the Gala will receive a complimentary drink coupon that evening. Interested in becoming a member? Check out our website for details. www.parkmccullough.org
