The Summer Reading Theme for Vermont Libraries is: LIBRARIES ROCK!
Green Mountain folk-rock-protest band "DAVID ROSANE & THE ZOOKEEPERS" has embarked on a two month LIBRARY BENEFIT TOUR at 13 libraries across the state. The event will help raise funds and advocate for literacy, community and freedom of speech, and will accompany the release of the band's new album "BOOK of ZOO".

"2018 is the year that Vermont libraries literally rock, said Rosane of Richford. "We look forward to performing to help our communities. Our book-loving band members are academics, teachers and community activists by day and musicians by night. We write meaningful songs about the major issues of our times so this project brings all of that together."

The tour, featuring David Rosane on vocals, Don Sinclair on bass and guitar, Jennifer Grossi on vocals, synthesizer and percussion, will be at the Lanpher Memorial Library on FRIDAY, AUGUST 17TH at 7:00. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE IN DATE FROM THE ORIGINAL TOUR INFO.

There will be a donation basket to raise money for the Library.
