On Thursday July 12 Secretary of Agriculture Anson Tebbetts and Deputy Secretary Alyson Eastman will be in the district visiting local farms and meeting with farmers to discuss all things agriculture. In the morning we will visit three local farms and then from 1:00 to 3:00 in the Pawlet Firehouse there will be a public "Town Hall" forum with the Secretary and Deputy to ask questions, offer observations, and discuss all things agricultural.

This is our third attempt to hold this forum (the Secretary had to cancel twice before) and we are hoping that despite short notice and good haying weather people can take advantage of this opportunity to speak directly with the Agency heads.
