The United Church of Northfield will present an educational talk and slide presentation entitled "Learn the Ferns" by Dr. Lauren Howard.The presentation will include a brief introduction to the geologic history of ferns and fern allies, and then take a look at the more common fern species in central Vermont. Each participant will receive a simple identification key to ferns and fern allies by common name, so people can identify them in the wild. Light refreshments will be available.

Suggested Donation- $10. All proceeds to benefit the church's Howe's Hall renovation. Howe's Hall is used not only by the church but many local groups for meetings, playgroup, Boy Scouts, business meetings. Help support this community resource!
