The Craftsbury Chamber Players will perform the first concert of their 2018 Season at 7:30pm on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at the Elley-Long Music Center on the Fort Ethan Allen Campus of St. Michael's College in Colchester. The concert moves through 60 years of music created in America and includes a piece by John Philip Sousa for violin and piano, 3 African American Spirituals for baritone and piano arranged by H.T. Burleigh, the "American" quartet by Antonin Dvorak for 2 violins, viola and piano, 3 Songs by George Gershwin for baritone and piano, and Bella Bartok's Contrasts for clarinet, violin and piano. Tickets are $25, $10 for students and free for children under 12. In addition there is a free afternoon mini-concert for children at 4pm. Free Seasons Passes may be checked out from all Chittenden County Public Libraries.
