Two Forrests & Three Sues, Plus One!....A new addition to our exciting 2018 season. The Three Sues: three unique singers each with a solid and varied musical history, meet on common ground to deliver a unique sound that turns mellow, energetic, nostalgic and jazzy. Sue Clarke, Sue Ribaudo and Susan Rule may not be blood relatives, but listening to the Three Sues is like hearing the Andrew Sisters with a repertoire that's updated for the 21st Century. Two Forrests: Michael Forrest sings everything from Show tunes to pop to jazz. This graduate of Otter Valley and UVM's theater program has been a performer and contributing writer with "The Capitol Steps", a six time "Helen Hayes" award nominee, with multiple productions at Lincoln Center, Ford's Theater and TV and film credits which include Detective Frank Barlow on HBO's "The Wire", "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" and he has performed for George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton and Al Gore. Scott Forrest is a singer/songwriter, who also graduated from Otter Valley and attended The Berklee College of Music, has a style that is an eclectic mix from pop, jazz, Americana, Brazilian, Opera, etc. He was voted one of the up and coming songwriters of Nashville, had a piece from his full length CD, "When I'm in Paris" on NPR's "A Prairie Home Companion" and has performed 3 times as part of a select chorus with the Metropolitan Opera of NYC. He also sang the role of The Bishop of Digne in "Les Miserables" at the exact same time his brother Michael was doing the same role in Los Angeles. There is also a special appearance by Ms. Kim Moyer, our Plus One, who was also a part of the select chorus of the Metropolitan Opera of NYC and has appeared in many roles with local Community Theater groups including Actors Repertory and The Brandon Town Players.
