The Jewish Community of Greater Stowe is pleased to announce the third annual Stowe Jewish Film Festival.
Thursday, July 12, 7:00: Monkey Business, The Adventures of Curious George's Creators Hans and Margret Rey, German Jews, began writing Curious George while fleeing the Nazis.
Wednesday, July 25, 7:00: Itzhak (Presented as a part of Stowe Arts and Culture Week.) This is warm, personal, and loving portrayal of world renowned violinist, Itzhak Perlman.
Thursday, August 9, 7:00: Shekinah Rising It is said that the Shekinah, the feminine aspect of God, must rise before the Messiah can come. This film follows the aspirations of several young Hasidic women.
Thursday, August 23, 7:00: On The Map A riveting against-all-odds story of the Tel-Aviv soccer team taking the European Championship in 1977.
