Past event
Jul 21, 2018, 10 AM to 2 PM

Stop by and experience first-hand the ways rivers shape our lands and the ways we shape our rivers. The stream table brings rivers down to sand-box size and shows how rivers shape the land over years in minutes and millennia in hours. A great hands-on activity for all ages and an amazing educational tool! Come for a few minutes or stay for a while! The Stream Table experience is FREE with your museum admission. Mention the stream table, and your museum admission is free from 10:00-12:00!

Presented by Billy Ernest, water quality monitoring assistant and Ryan O'Donnell, water quality monitoring coordinator, for Connecticut River Conservancy, Deerfield River Watershed Association, and Southeastern Vermont Watershed Alliance. Contact the Museum for more information 464-0048
