'But Can I Swim In it?'

Ryan O'Donnell, Water Quality Monitoring Coordinator for Connecticut River Conservancy, Deerfield River Watershed Association, and Southeastern Vermont Watershed Alliance will come to the Museum for a FREE introduction to the different ways scientists determine water quality in rivers and streams. We will look at a case study of the Whetstone Brook in Brattleboro, overviews of monitoring results from other nearby rivers, and spend some time focusing on what makes waters safe for recreation. For more information contact the Museum at 464-0048
