WALK FOR CHILDREN! Vermont has become a national model for child abuse prevention, but there is still much work to be done. Over 800 Vermont children are abused or neglected each year. We need to unite as a statewide community to ensure a safe, nurturing environment for every child growing up in Vermont.

Please join us one step at a time at the Montpelier WALK on Saturday, August 18th on the Statehouse Lawn and In Burlington on Saturday, September 22nd at First Unitarian Universalist Society Church lawn; Marvel Comics Spiderman will be attending both - have your photo taken with him!!!

Also there is a WALK in Rutland on Saturday, September 22nd at the Howe Center. There will be lots of food and drinks and WALK shirts. The top three teams at each WALK that raise the most in pledges will be rewarded. We have a wonderful assortment of raffle prizes at all three WALKS.
