The Greensboro Community Green Sheet has the time for the Greensboro Funky Fourth Parade starting at 11am-the correct start time is 10am! Please mark your calendars!

The following information is from the Town of Greensboro's website to help you with your planning...

The festivities for the Funky Fourth of July will be on Saturday, July 7th. The parade will start promptly at 10 AM with a variety of traditional and new entries (Bread and Puppet are rumored to be attending). Line up for parade entrants will begin at 9 am.

In addition, there will be various activities at the Town Green, including children's games, booths and musical entertainment. The Greensboro Free Library will have their annual book sale from 10am to 2pm. And, of course, the GUCC Chicken Barbeque will be cooking up its delicious fare from 11am to 1pm. Take-out is available (bring containers), please call the church for reservations, 533-2223.

At the end of the day, at dusk, enjoy the amazing fireworks a good viewing location is from Tolman Corners Ball field. (Rain date is Sunday, July 8th). Happy Fourth of July!
