Stop the spread of aquatic invasive species!

You're invited to an evening seminar to learn what we can do for Lake Memphremagog.

Are you curious about:
• Which invasive species are in the lake?
• What efforts are underway to control, remove, and prevent the spread of invasive species?
• What you can do to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species when fishing swimming, and boating?
• What is done on the other side of the border and what to do if you cross into Canada?

Then join us as our expert speakers tackle these questions and more:

• Jim Nagle, Newport City Harbor Master
• Kim Jensen, Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation
• Peter Emerson, Vermont Fish and Wildlife
• Alexandra Roy, MRC de Memphrémagog
• Kendall Lambert, Memphremagog Watershed Association

Thursday, July 12th 5-7pm at the Gateway Center on the water in Newport, 84 Fyfe Drive, Newport.

Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Please RSVP to Kendall Lambert at klambert@mwavt.org or by phone at 802-487-0160.

This program is brought to you by the City of Newport and the Memphremagog Watershed Association.
