Hello Fellow Neighbors!
It's hot but there has never been a better time to strike out to advocate for those suffering from mental illness. NAMI VT -the National Alliance on Mental Illness VT will be marching behind the blue banner raising awareness about the need to stamp out stigma and improve services. Vermont has one of the highest suicide rates in the country. People in crisis can wait days in the emergency room before a bed can be available for them. We need your help. Numbers of people walking show we care. Please meet us at the Johnson Farm at 9:30 behind the blue NAMI banner or wait by the Williston Federated Church and join us then as we walk by.
