The annual meeting of the Grand Isle Historical Society will be held July 11, 2018, 6:30 PM at the Block/Corners School and Hyde Log Cabin historical site. Light refreshments will be served. The public is invited to join us and see what the Historical Society is all about. New members are always welcome.

The meeting will start off at 6:30 with an Open House of all buildings. There are new displays of recent acquisitions including two interesting maps. At 7 PM Susan Ouelette from St. Michael's College will speak briefly on the state of the nation relevant to the two maps.

The annual business meeting will begin at 7:30. The Historical Society has invited some guests we would like to acknowledge and thank. Also, members of the Select Board will be present to formally present Don & Fay Chamberlin with a plaque honoring their years of service to the town and Historical Society. The Secretary & Treasurer's reports will be read.
