Reading Frederick Douglass on the 4th

Past event
Jul 4, 2018, 12 to 1 PM

Join a public participatory reading of Frederick Douglass's fiery Independence Day speech on July 4 on the front steps of Kimball Public Library at noon. The speech, first given in 1852, remains emotionally powerful and thought-provoking more than a century and a half later. The reading is free and open to all, and we need your help!
