The July HINESBURG RECORD neglected to include the following announcement available at the Town Web site (Old Home Week activities):
Sunday, July 1: "10 am – Trails Committee will host a hike that will start at Town Hall and proceed to the Russell Property up to the Overlook Trail and back. George Dameron of the Trails Committee and Professor of History at St. Michael's College will lead the hike and historical discussion." The easy hike will last less than an hour, there and back. It will be hot. Please bring water and use insect repellant (up to 30% DEET). Meet at the Town Hall porch. Questions? (Call George at 482-3269)
