Art Reception Thursday July 5th 4:30pm-7pm
Janice Decooman, a life-long artist, began weaving in traditional Navajo style in her mid-twenties. After a formal art education and a career teaching art in public schools, she has continued to explore more challenging woven work. Janice also paints portraits on specially-made wood hangers to display her weaving. Janice is one of the featured artists for the month of July at the Artist In Residence Gallery in St. Albans, VT.
Marcia Blanco, who was originally trained as a medical illustrator, has expanded her realistic/representational style to include the more expressive medium of printmaking. Each hand-pulled print is a unique original. Marcia is one of the featured artists for the month of July at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
Paule Gingras was born in Abitibi, Quebec, and raised in Montreal. Now a resident of Vermont, she paints to express the spirit and essence of the environment around her. Paule's paintings are colorful and spontaneous, reflective and evocative. Paule is one of the featured artists for the month of July at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
