No question -- the announced retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and what we all know this may mean for our country ... it's frightening and bleak.
Which means, now more than ever, we have to "stand up, fight back" -- and one of the best ways to do that is help turn Congress blue in the 2018 mid-terms, just a few short months away.
And one of the best ways to do that is to help raise money for candidates in swing districts and states. Indivisible Calais is working with Lean Left Vermont to raise money for their PAC (we have to keep this legal, folks). Lean Left Vermont is working with three candidates so far in Maine, New Hampshire, and New York.
You can be part of the fundraising fun by coming to our series of BLUE WAVE CONCERTs with your charge card or check book in hand. The first concert is this Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 7:00 pm with Patti Casey and Susannah Blachly at Barbara Butler's Home, 40 North Calais Road, North Calais. Light Refreshments Served - BYOB. Carpooling Requested - Do Not Trust GPS. Go to IndivisibleCalais.org/directions
