As you may or may not know I lived at this farm with the Museum's founder J.C. Kenneth Poore in my youth and helped found the museum. It has been open to the public for 24 years. I will be there all day Saturday and would be pleased to give you a personal tour of the house ( circa 1830) and Barns. The Mt. Men will be encamped there for the weekend also.
J.C. Kenneth Poore was born July 5, 1885 and we celebrate his birthday with free cake and lemonade each year.
Located 7 miles north of Colebrook NH on Route 145 this site is an historic site of Northern New England.
Moses Heath build the firt building there in 1824 and all buildings are authentic and in their original sites.
