The Science of Bird Communication with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS). Why do owls hoot? What are those hawks talking about? How do scientists find out what birds are saying? Meet some of these talkative hawks, falcons, and owls up close! We'll practice identifying raptors by their calls, learn what these vocalizations might mean, and how they are made.
