Here's a good cause I ran across, and a good deal too. Come select your own bowl crafted by a local potter, and enjoy homemade soup served in your new bowl, at The Central Vermont "Empty Bowl" Benefit for the Vermont Foodbank on Sunday, February 16. It's going to be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at The Mud Studio on Route 2 in Middlesex (in the Red Hen complex, where you can get some great bread to go with the soup.) The minimum adult donation is $25. Tickets for children under 5 are free and $5 for children ages 5-18 for a meal only. Good cause, good food, and no Eli Manning breaking into shards in this bowl event!
