Donald Trump and his administration have been cruelly separating children from their families. Despite his recent Executive Order that supposedly ends this practice, there is no plan to reunite those children who have been taken with their families. In fact, those several thousand children have been secretly hidden away all around the country and there are even reports of abuse of them. But we won't allow this to continue. On June 30, we're rallying in Washington, D.C., and around the country to tell Donald Trump and his administration to stop engaging in such heartless, barbaric practices! Join us on June 30 to send a clear message to Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress: Families Belong Together! We'll gather to hold signs and chant at the Main Street Park at the corner of Main & Center Streets in Rutland to protest the separation of families at the border, the continued incarceration and reported abuse of separated children, the inability of elected officials in D.C. to pass comprehensive and fair immigration policy, the demonization of the immigrant population by the Trump Administration, and we'll demand that they be reunited with their families as soon as possible.
