Learn vegetable gardening at free workshops and drop-in hours led by Vermont Community Garden Network's expert staff.
Location: The vegetable garden at Bright Street Housing Co-op, next to 120 Archibald St.
Drop in on Tuesday evenings, 6-7pm, for answers to your gardening questions.
Workshops are on Saturdays from 11am to 12:30pm:
1. Saturday, June 30th – Growing Culinary and Medicinal Herbs
2. Saturday, July 21st – Prepare for Fall (mid-season maintenance, succession planting)
3. Saturday, August 11th – Food Preservation 1: Quick pickles, fermented vegetables
4. Saturday, Sept. 1st – Food Preservation 2: Recipes that use herbs
5. Saturday, Oct. 13th – End of Season Wrap: Planting garlic, putting your garden to bed
