Hello Winooski neighbors!
On Tuesday, June 26th, please join me and the New Leaders Council Vermont (NLC VT) Board, supporters, and other community members for Leaders & Libations at Nectar's from 6-8:30pm for the launch of NLC VT, a new non-profit, non-partisan training organization for emerging leaders.
Ben & Jerry's Co-founder Ben Cohen will be speaking and scooping out FREE ICE CREAM! Other speakers include Morgan Webster, Director of Common Good Vermont, and Partnership for Change Director, Good News Garage Founder, and Winooski City Councilor Hal Colston. There'll be live entertainment by Winooski's own DJ cRAIG mITCHELL, a.k.a. oLIVERtWISTED and libations of course! The event is free, family friendly, and open to the public.

NLC VT is a non-profit (501c3), non-partisan training organization, dedicated to recruiting, training and promoting the next generation of emerging leaders. Annually, 15-20 civic, social, and political entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in a free 6 month training intensive to develop and strengthen core leadership traits, network with other next-gen changemakers, and gain additional skills to impact their individual and collective work.
