Two Richmond women, Mary Claire Carroll, photographer, and Julie McGowan, painter, worked together to create an exhibit, "Luminous Landscapes of Vermont." They each contributed 17 works to the show. They looked at seventeen Vermont locations and tried to capture the essence of each, one through photography and one through painting. They'll give a gallery talk at Gruppe Gallery in Jericho on Monday, June 25th at 1:30. Come see the show and hear them talk about their two year collaboration and how they inspired each other.
