Ben & Jerry's and the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture will unveil a new exhibit on the 1968 Poor People's Campaign at the Waterbury factory, and you're invited!
Friday, June 22, 11:30-12:30: Exhibit unveiling with a talk from the curator. Hear from Dr. Bernard LaFayette, Chairman of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and longtime civil rights activist who helped launch the 1968 Poor People's Campaign.
Saturday, June 23, 10:30 am-2:30 pm: Community Day, with a talk from the curator and a tour of the exhibit, followed by family-friendly arts and crafts activities that bring the Poor People's Campaign to life.
