West Pawlet Celebrates Summer on July 7

West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary hosts a Town Wide Tag Sale, Giant Raffle, Chicken Barbecue, Flea Market and Food Sale on July 7. While town residents open their yards, the West Pawlet Fire House, located at 2806 VT Rte. 153 (Main Street), West Pawlet, VT, will hold a flea market from 9 am to 3 pm.

Barbecue tickets go on sale at 10 am and continue until sold out. A generous meal consisting of WPVFD's famous ½ barbecued chicken, chips, coleslaw, roll and a soda costs $10. Meals can be picked up starting at 12:30 pm. The Auxiliary Kitchen will be open all day and offers coffee, donuts, soda, salads, burgers and dogs at family friendly prices.

Tickets for a giant raffle with over 60 prizes cost $1 each or 6 for $5. Top prizes are a Telescope Furniture Patio Set, Aerus Apollo Heater, One Day Party Boat from EZ Marina of Wells, VT and Mars Insurance 'Super Surprise". Prize drawing begins at 2 pm.

Vendor spaces are available at a pre-paid, non-refundable price of $10 per inside table and $15 for an outside 10' x 10' space until June 30. Unreserved tables can be rented for $15 and outside booth space for $20 from July 1 through the day of the sale.
