COME PLAY!! DANCE, FIGHT, SING CAPOEIRA SERIES w/ Molly Lee at 2 Wolves Center in Vergennes!!

Get in great shape, feel energized and heat up to the beat of lively Afro-Brazilian music!

Capoeira is a dynamic martial art and dance developed by the African slaves in Brazil over 500 years ago. Movements are playful and include graceful combinations of kicks, acrobatics and ground movements to enhance your awareness, flexibility, and strength. In this class series, you will also learn traditional capoeira songs and how to play Brazilian instruments including the atabaque (drum) and pandeiro (tambourine).

This class is beginner-friendly and suitable for all levels. Kids over 9yrs old welcome. For maximum benefit, taking the whole series from the beginning is recommended.

About the teacher:
Molly Lee, "Instrutora Esquilo" is a capoeira instructor with Capoeira Brasil NYC. With over 15 years of experience in the art form, she has been seen in performances for the Discovery Channel, NBC, Nike Women, Middlebury College and Penn State University. Molly has also enjoyed sharing capoeira through non-profit organizations such as Mestre Jelon's Capoeira Foundation, Mestre Boneco's G.I.N.G.A. (Gang Intervention Nationwide Guiding Adolescence) and the Sunray Elders Gathering in Vermont. She is passionate about teaching classes to both kids and adults.

Feb. 9 & 23 (no class Feb.16)
March 2, 9, 23, 30 (no class March 16)

FIRST DAY OF CLASS IS Feb 9th and is OPEN FOR $14 DROP IN! Come. Please email with questions.
