Dear Neighbors,

The City Council will convene its first of two regular meetings for the month of February this coming Monday.

Following a very brief Local Control Commission meeting at 7pm, we will convene our meeting immediately thereafter in Contois Auditorium in City Hall.

We will begin our meeting with a presentation on the City Hall Park Master Plan from Doreen Kraft of BCA, Jesse Bridges of Parks and Recreation, Kelly Devine of the BBA as well as the architectural firm of H. Keith Wagner and Jeff Hogson. Following this presentation, the Council will vote on a resolution in support of the plan and authorizing the City continue to move forward with the plan.

We will then vote on our second and last resolution of the evening. This resolution authorizes the City to place on the Town Meeting Day ballot a request to the voters allowing the City t pledge the credit of the City to secure indebtedness for public improvements within the Waterfront TIF District. At our last meeting, the Council had a presentation from CEDO on the Public Investment Action Plan which resulted in several projects advancing and the Mayor allocating TIF dollars to five projects including the Sailing Center, Waterfront Park, the New Moran, ECHO, and a marina on the Moran site.

We will then have council committee reports, comments from councilors and the Mayor. Please keep in mind that you are welcome to come to a council meeting and speak to the Council on any subject you wish during our Public Forum which begins at 7:30pm.

Our last agenda item will be an Executive Session on the Champlain Parkway.
