A group of prominent area journalists will sit together to discuss the fast changing world of media and journalism, in a discussion moderated by VTDigger founder and editor, Anne Galloway.. Issues ranging from profitability, advertising and relevance for certain audiences, the use of digital and print forums, and the increasingly partisan nature of news formats will be covered. Participants will include Marty Frank, Editor in Chief of the Valley News, Tom Powers, writer for both the New York and London Review of Books, Christopher Wren, former reporter and foreign correspondent for the New York Times, Tim Calabro, Editor in Chief and owner of the Herald, and Katie Jickling, news reporter for Seven Days. The discussion should be fascinating, and certainly relevant for the time.

This event will be held at the Old Town Hall in Brookfield at 7:00 pm on Wednesday June 20th. It is free, handicapped accessible, and organized by the Brookfield Free Public Library.
