Hello Hinesburg!

My name is Sage Coates-Farley, and I just graduated from CVU.

One of my final projects has been to develop an "Effective Altruism" initiative in our communities.

For my project, I created Handmade for Humanity which is an organization of volunteers knitting winter products (hats, scarves, mittens, etc) to be donated to the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program/USCRI. This organization does amazing work and I've been a volunteer there for a year which helped inspire this project!

I'd like to invite you to join me in this initiative and I'll be hosting an event at the Carpenter-Carse Library on Saturday, June 23rd at 11:00 AM with more information.

All skill levels are welcome; if you've never knitted before but still want to help I'd love to teach you!

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at sage.cf128@gmail.com or call or text 802-318-8785.

With the help of this community, I think we can do tremendous good for our New American neighbors! Thank you!
