A Special Places Walk is scheduled for this Saturday (2/8), at Gillette Pond. We will be meeting at 10 am at the parking/turnaround at the Huntington end of the pond. We plan to explore the wetlands for signs of animal activities, followed by a trip (walk, ski, drive) to the dam where we will examine the dam and discuss the future of the pond. Then a quick hike up to the overlook, and then home. Total time approximately 2hrs. All are welcomed, come prepared for the weather. Hope to see you there.
