Missisquoi Paddle-Pedal and Richford River Fest
The fourth annual Missisquoi Paddle-Pedal is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, June 23rd in Richford, Vermont! This fun event combines 6.5 miles of paddling on the Wild and Scenic Missisquoi River and 4.5 miles of cycling back on the adjacent Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail.
Bring your family, gather a team of friends, or come by yourself—this community event is for all ages and abilities. Sign-up for a non-competitive recreational class or enter to race solo, pair, relay, or as a community team. All participants will go home with a prize! $10 boat rentals are available for advanced reservation, thanks to Montgomery Adventures.
Lunch will be for sale as part of the coinciding Richford River Fest in Davis Park from 11 am–2 pm hosted by the Richford Conservation Commission. This family-oriented celebration of the Missisquoi River includes educational activities for kids and adults alike, nature walks and workshops, music, and a bake sale.
Want to participate but not paddle? Sign up as a volunteer! Volunteers will help with registering participants, staffing road crossings, and time keeping.
Volunteers are also invited to help complete improvements to a river access and community gathering space in town on Thursday (June 21st), and Sunday, June 24th.
