Vermont Youth Dancers will bring "Castle on the Hill, A Tale of King Arthur" to the big beautiful stage at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center. VYD sold-out two shows in April at MMU High School - don't miss the last chance to see this wonderful performance.

Two shows at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center, Stowe Mountain Resort
* Friday, June 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
* Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets available online at sprucepeakarts.org for $18 and $22

You can see VYD's show and visit the Vermont Renaissance Faire happening the same weekend! Stowe will become olde England, full of knights, ladies, myths and magic - the perfect backdrop for VYD's story.

Vermont Youth Dancers puts their spin on the classic legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. VYD tells this tale of chivalry, brotherhood and courage through dance to current music with a unique blend of thrilling hip-hop and captivating lyrical choreography, with song choices that "tell" the story. Family-friendly but not just for kids - adults and teens will enjoy the music, the message, and of course, the dancing.

VYD has partnered with King Arthur Flour to battle hunger and will donate to Hunger Free Vermont. Every audience member at Friday night's show will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket with a leather bound edition of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, two tickets to the Stowe Renaissance Faire, items donated by King Arthur Flour, and other goodies.

Vermont Youth Dancers is a local performance company, based in Jericho, featuring talented youth from several Vermont towns, ages 8-18. Previous Vermont Youth Dancers performances include Aladdin's Last Wish, Pride, Between the Raindrops, A Journey to Oz, Cinderella Unwritten, Forever Young-A Peter Pan Tale, and last year's performance of A Better Place, A Twist on Oliver.
