With a theme of "Libraries Rock!", the MRV Libraries have put together an exciting lineup of summer reading programs for all ages that explore music, sound, and of course rocks. Join us for our kick-off event coming up Thursday, 6/21 at the Valley Players Theater in Waitsfield with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS).

"Screech and Hoot: The Science of Bird Communication" will explore how scientists find out what birds are saying, and let you meet talkative hawks, falcons, and owls up close! We'll practice identifying raptors by their calls, learn what these vocalizations might mean, and how they are made!
