This slide show is the story of Ad and Plinky Topperwein of Texas. In the age before talking movies, TV and other modern distractions, trick shooters performed dazzling feats in Vaudeville theaters and less formal venues like baseball fields and sporting clubs. Winchester Arms' "Wonderful Topperweins" --a husband-wife exhibition team--barnstormed North America from 1905 to World War II dazzling spectators with their amazing trickshooting show.
