This summer, intellectually-driven modern folk-rock band David Rosane & The Zookeepers has embarked on a library benefit tour with performances at 13 libraries across the state, to accompany the release of their new literary-themed album "Book of the Zoo".
The concert to benefit the Peacham Library takes place on Friday, July 6th at Peacham Congregational Church. All ticketing is at the door - no reservations necessary. Suggested donation $15, with all proceeds going directly to supporting the Peacham Library!
BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE!
Following the performance will be a ice-cream social featuring Artesano ice cream by donation at the Peacham Library Community Room. YUM!
The Library will also offer a special Family Movie Night on the same date at 6:45pm at the Peacham Library Community Room, designed to serve as childcare by donation ($10 suggested) for those attending the Zookeepers performance at the church. Kids can enjoy a PG-rated movie, popcorn and lemonade, and PJs are encouraged!
