Independence Day Celebration! $100 Float Awards!

CAMBRIDGE AREA ROTARY presents the INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION!
THEME: Building Bridges in Our Community!
GRAND MARSHALS: Sally & Bob Harter - recognizing their efforts on behalf of Cambridge Cares, Cambridge Food Shelf, Meals on Wheels, and Restorative Justice.

PARADE starts at 10:00am (if you want to be in the Parade, show up at GW Tatro's on Route 15 by 9:30am)
TOWN FAIR at 10:45am (following the Parade) with games, food, music, and $100 Awards Ceremony (see categories below) at Cambridge Elementary School Field in Jeffersonville. (If you'd like a booth at the event, it's $40 for Vendors and $20 for Non-Profits).
MUSIC: from 11:00am-1:00pm it's Cookie's Hot Club - presented by CAMBRIDGE ARTS COUNCIL.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Annie Rheaume.
FROG JUMPING CONTEST at 1:15pm. 1st Place - $25, 2nd Place - $15, 3rd Place $10.

FLOAT AWARDS - $100 for each category: Grand Marshal, Theme, Business, Non-Profit, Kids.

EVENING EVENTS at SMUGGLERS' NOTCH RESORT: Cambridge Fire Dept. BBQ starts at 5:00pm. DJ Goodtime Charlie plays music on the Village Green at 6:00pm. 40th Army Band plays Patriotic and Other favorites at 8:00pm. FIREWORKS at Dusk.
