Come and join local Master Composters and NEKWMD Outreach Coordinator, Shannon Choquette, for an informal yet educational discussion on backyard composting on June 20, 6:30 - 8 pm in the Willey Building. If you are looking to learn more about backyard composting, or have experience and knowledge to share, this workshop will be a great opportunity to connect with your neighbors on this interesting topic. We will have refreshments and light snacks.

In this workshop, we will discuss:
-The benefits of composting,
-The Universal Recycling and Composting Law
-Choosing a good compost set-up
-The compost "recipe" (ie, what does and does not go in)
-Maintaining your compost overtime,
-Compost troubleshooting and common myths,

And any other topic people are curious to know more about! Informational handouts will be available.

We will have a free raffle, and one lucky attendant will walk away with a Soil Saver backyard composter! Additional composters will be available for $45.00each. We hope to see you there!
