Grand Opening of the new Community Dog Park 11:00 a.m, 4th annual Caws 4 Paws Pet Expo, Performing Dockdogs and the 3rd Annual Spring into Summer Festival hosted by the Town of Barre Rec Dept. FREE admission to all, in lieu of admission charge, donations are being accepted to benefit the new dog park Phase III. Saturday June 9th 10-2:00. Dockdogs will be a two day event Sat 9-5:00 and Sunday 9-Noon as dogs compete in various waves, with finals on Sunday

Among the Spring Festival are the following activities for kids to participate in.
UVM Master Gardener, Aldrich Public Library storytimes, granite city grocery giant slingshot, Race to Read, Vermont Bicycle Shop, Olympic style challenge including one from Barre Town Firefighters, face painting, crafts (pet rocks, animal masks, butterflies), activities (mini golf, water wall, music wall),and more.
