Lamoille Habitat for Humanity Benefit Sunday

Past event
Jun 10, 12 PM to 12 AM, Jun 11, 2018

On Sunday, June 10, Moog's Place in Morrisville is sponsoring HammerJam, a 12 hour live music event from noon until midnight. All proceeds go to support Lamoille Habitat for Humanity's newest project, a house to be built on Maple street in Morrisville. Tickets are $10/person and $25/family with children under 5 free. Over 20 bands are donating their time and music for this event.

We use a lot of donated time and materials to build a house, but there are still places where we must spend money to make it happen. We don't give houses away. A carefully selected family will invest at least 400 hours of sweat equity to be eligible to buy the house at 0% interest from us. Their mortgage payment goes into our account to help us build our next house. We believe that families who own their homes and have housing security strengthen our communities.

Our immediate goal is to raise money. Our short-term goal is to build a simple but energy efficient home in Morrisville for a low income family. Our longer-term goal is to strengthen the community. We would appreciate your support.
