Winter Carnival is ten days away on February 15th and there is snow in the forecast to get Johnson ready for the annual snow sculpture contest.
The theme is The Little Mermaid. Businesses will construct sculptures at their Main Street properties and the Legion Field will be available for other organizations, families and kids of all ages. Sculptures may be constructed until 1 PM on Saturday (the 15th) at which time the judges will make their decisions. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded in the Elementary School Gym at 1:45 PM. Register with Don Foote, 730-2238 or dfoote@bluesprucerealty.com.
